How does shipping work?

Once your order is place, we will contact you ASAP with a price for shipping. If you would like an to know the approximate price for shipping before you place an order, please send us an email with your postal/ZIP code: sales@sheasart.com

We can ship the painting by expedited shipping if you would like it in a hurry, or by regular parcel postage to save on shipping. Please note that you will be charged the exact price for shipping without any extra charges. A lot of web sites will charge you extra fees to inflate the price. Here at Sheasart.com, you will pay what only what it really costs to ship!

Will the painting be protected during shipping?

All paintings will be very well packaged to protect against damage during shipping. It's always better to add a little extra packaging to protect at item of value. Also, all shipping prices are quoted with insurance. If you would prefer to ship without insurance, we can do so, but at your own risk.

Will I be charged tax or duties?

Sales tax is included in the price of the paintings. For international shipping, it is possible that you will be charged duty by customs. However, we will keep an eye on all orders to make sure they get there ASAP and without difficulty. You will be sent a tracking number for your painting as soon we have one.

Can I return a painting once I have already received one?

Yes, if you receive a painting, and your not completely happy with it, you can return it. You must return it in the same condition as which it was received within 30 days. You will be refunded the price minus shipping charges.

Will the painting be sent in a frame? Can I have a custom frame?

All paintings will be shipped in a standard frame that suits the size of the picture. The price of this frame is included in the cost of the painting. If you would like a more elaborate frame, please send a message with your order for this request. We will send you a quotation for the cost of the frame and framing.

Do you make custom paintings by request? Can you make my photograph into a painting?

Yes!!! Custom paintings can be commissioned by request.You will need to send a photograph of your favorite subject (The better the photograph, the better the painting will be!). Please send an email to: bruce@sheasart.com with your photograph to inquire about custom artwork!

Transparent layers of paint, using the white of the paper instead of white paint.

What is Watercolor Paper?
Watercolor paper is not paper at all. Containing no cellulose watercolor paper is made of 100% cotton mixed with
gum arabic and gelatin for sizing .Each sheet is pressed in a mould and is very stable.
